Abstract:

〔Abstract〕 Na Zhangyuan is a modern writer from Yishan （Yi mountainous areas）. His works always focus on the ethnic culture and life of Yishan in his hometown. The opposition and conflict between modern urban civilization and ancient national tradition have always been the main objects of his writing. The transition from rural to urban living space made Na zhangyuan rethink the traditional culture and lifestyle of Yishan. Modern civilization is the coordinates of his reflection and criticism of Yi nationality traditional culture， and "Yishan" has always been his spiritual refuge in the depths of his soul. Na zhangyuan's essay and its spiritual connotation embody the emotional characteristics and cultural value orientation of contemporary minority intellectuals.
