Abstract:

Objective To analyze the distribution characteristics and drug resistance of Neisseria gonorrhoeae in clinical patients in a tertiary hospital A in Dali which provides a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of gonorrhea. Methods Genital secretions collected in this hospital from January 2014 to December 2020 were isolated cultured and identified drug sensitivity test and result judgment were conducted and the data information was analyzed. Results From 2014 to 2020 61 strains of Neisseria gonorrhoeae were isolated in total and the detection rate had been increasing year by year. The detection rate of male was about 4 times that of female. Department of dermatology and urology were the main sources inspection. The patients were mainly young and middle-aged from 21 to 40 years old. The drug susceptibility results showed that Neisseria gonorrhoeae had high resistance to ciprofloxacin norfloxacin and penicillin and the resistance rate to cefoxitin cefuroxime and cefcyanazole was relatively low. The resistance rate to ceftriaxone was only 3.85%. Conclusion Ceftriaxone can be used as the first choice in clinical treatment. It is necessary to monitor their drug resistance when using cefoxitin and cefuroxime as therapeutic drugs.
