Abstract: Objective: To analyze the protein encoded by the pathogenic gene MAV_2927 of Mycobacterium avium(MAV) by using bioinformatics. Methods: The gene and amino acid sequence of the protein encoded by the MAV_2927 gene were obtained from NCBI;Protparam tool, SOPMA, SWISS-MODEL were applied to analyze the physical and chemical properties and secondary and tertiary structure of proteins;PortScale, SignalIP 4.0 Server, TMHMM Server 2.0 were used to analyze hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity, signal peptide, and transmembrane region. Results:The protein encoded by the MAV_2927 gene contains 43 amino acids, has a relative molecular weight of 4.213 kDa, an isoelectric point of 4.72, and a molecular formula of C183H284N48O62S2. Conclusion:The protein encoded by MAV_2927 contains multiple T and B cell epitopes, indicating that it may be a potential pathogenic factor related to the host interaction during the infection process, and can provide a basis for studying the pathogenicity of MAC and clinical treatment.
