Study on the Relationship Between Trust and Self-Esteem of Junior High School Students in Ethnic Minority Areas in Northwest YunnanTake M Junior High School in Dali as an Example

Abstract:

In order to understand the current situation of peer trust and self-esteem of junior high school students in ethnic minority areas in northwest Yunnan, and to explore the impact of peer trust on the self-esteem of junior high school studentsin ethnic minority areas in northwest Yunnan, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 520 junior high school students in M school in ethnic minority areas in northwest Yunnan. The research results show that: ① There is a significant positive correlation between peer trust and self-esteem in junior high school students; ② The peer trust of junior high school students is at the middle level, and there are significant differences in grade, family location, family relationship and family income; ③ The self-esteem level of junior high school students is at a medium level. There are significant differences in singleton status, stay-at-home status, grade, family location, family relationship, family income and mother's educational background.
