Abstract:

There are various kinds of folk arts in the Huaihe River Basin， including Fuyang paper-cut， the painted pottery in Jieshou， Anhui fire-brush painting， Bozhou paper-cut and so on. The folk arts in the Huaihe River Basin have cultivated excellent history and culture， and bear great educational functions. In different historical stages， the folk arts in the Huaihe River Region reflect the patriotismfrom the techniques， themes and diversified cultural and creative products， which has the value of patriotic education. In modern times， the application of Huaihe River Basin folk arts in patriotic education can be carried out through three ways， i.e.， organizing folk arts learning activities， innovating folk arts elements and inheriting modern folk arts， so as to enhance the audience's senses of national identity， national righteousness and national mission. It is suggested to take traditional culture as the foundation to firmly foster patriotism.
