Abstract: Identifying residents' expectations for public services is a prerequisite for improving the basic public service system and improving the level of public services. Based on the theory of planned behavior, this study empirically analyzed the impact mechanism of rural residents' expectations for leisure public services in the demonstration zone for common prosperity through a survey of 3 325 rural residents in Zhejiang Province, using structural equation modeling. The study found that leisure attitude has both "rationality" and "practicality", and subjective norms present a "differential pattern", both of which can significantly improve rural residents' willingness to engage in leisure activities, with leisure attitude having a greater influence than subjective norms. There is an "asynchronous resonance" between rural residents' willingness to engage in leisure activities and their expectations for leisure public services in the demonstration zone for common prosperity.
