Abstract:

This paper summarizes and analyzes the relationship between the score of movie Five Golden Flowers and traditional Bai
music in Dali. First- hand traditional Bai music materials has been collected on the spot. With different "inside" and "outside"
perspectives, through the methods of original sample, segment and motivation development, traditional Bai music has been used in the
score of movie Five Golden Flowers. The methods of processing materials and creation of theme music in score offer an important
reference for the creation of ethnic music.
