Abstract:

Objective: To investigate the cause and method of effective clinical treatment and prognosis of acute limbs ischemia.
Methods: Fogarty catheter thrombectomy and anticoagulation therapy were used on 31 cases of acute limbs ischemia within 6 years in
a certain hospital. Results: Among 31 cases, 26 cases' ischemia symptom disappeared or were improved, 5 cases had irreversible
necrosis because of long term of critical ischemia pre-operation, received second phase amputation post-operation. Conclusion: The
embolectomy surgical treatment and anticoagulation therapy are effective clinical methods of the patients who have acute limbs
ischemia after the evaluation of the reason, degree and scope of ischemia. It's necessary of being careful in assessing the amputation
level to avoid amputation again.
