Abstract:

Objective: To evaluate the clinical application of fetal venous catheter in diagnosis of fetal congenital heart disease with
different gestational age. Methods: 4 060 cases of fetal venous catheter flow parameters were detected in 11 to 40 gestational weeks,
including PVD(ventricular systole peak velocity), PVS(ventricular diastolic peak flow velocity), PVA(atrial systolic maximum
velocity), PI(pulsatility index), RI(the resistance index), PVIV(venous peak velocity index)and S/A. Results: 26 cases of
abnormal venous frequency spectrum were detected by ultrasonic examination, all of them were diagnosed with the fetal congenital
heart disease. A waves of venous catheter were inversed in 16 cases and were missed in 10 case. The diagnosis was completely in
accordance with the autopsy or the neonatal cardiac ultrasonic contrast. Conclusion: The ultrasonic detection of fetal venous catheter
spectrum was an effective method for diagnosis of fetal congenital heart disease.
