Analysis of Religious Factors on Chinese Enterprises' Investments in Myanmar:#br# A Case Study of Letpadaung Copper Mine

Abstract: The "herringbone" economic corridor between China and Myanmar provides new opportunities for Chinese enterprises in
Myanmar undoubtedly. However, Myanmar is a country with very strong religious beliefs, where most people believe in Theravada
Buddhism. This would inevitably influence Chinese enterprises' investments. Research on religious risks and countermeasures during
the mining of Letpadaung Copper Mine will not only provide solutions to religious risks for Chinese enterprises in Myanmar, but also
provide a substantial reference for Chinese enterprises in avoiding investment risks caused by religious factors abroad.
