Abstract: In the new era, De'ang women's subjective consciousness can be categorized into the consciousness of gender equality, the consciousness of self-development, the consciousness of self-expression, and the consciousness of cultural confidence. A historical perspective should be taken to probe into the reasons why De'ang women's subjective consciousness has been developing so rapidly. In the 70 years since the founding of People's Republic of China, the socialist system of pursuing national equality, gender equality, and women's liberation has provided institutional guarantee for the establishment of De'ang women's subjectivity. The historic changes in social and economic life since the reform and opening up have created conditions for the development of De'ang women's subjectivity. The continuous innovation of the working methods of the Women's Federation in the new era has given De'ang women more opportunities to realize their self-worth. Although the female subjective consciousness has been promoted in the practice of reform and opening up, in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, it still needs to be continuously improved in a way that meets the expectations of the country and the requirements of the development of the times.
