Abstract: Gansu Tibet-related districts are multi-national symbiosis areas where there is a deep historical foundation for the
communication and integration of various ethnic groups. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China，all ethnic groups in
Gansu Tibet-related districts have been working together to achieve common prosperity and development. In the new era，Gansu
Tibet-related districts focus on the development of the economy，the creation of national unity and progress，and the inheritance as
well as promotion of national culture and other specific practices to further promote the exchanges and integration of various ethnic
groups. This paper summarizes the historical experience of communication and integration of various ethnic groups in Tibet-related
districts，explores the practical path of economic and social development in addition to harmonious ethnic relations，and provides a
reference for further developing national unity and progress and casting the sense of community for the Chinese nation.
