Abstract:

ObjectiveTo explore the diagnostic value of combined detection of macrophage inflammatory protein 1β(MIP-1β)、 interleukinIL-27 and IL-35 in tuberculous pleural effusionTPE. MethodsA total of 106 patients with TPE admitted to Luojiang District People's Hospital and Medical Group Hospital in Deyang City from May 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjectsresearch group), and 106 patients with malignant pleural effusion MPEadmitted at the same time were selected as the control group. The expression levels of MIP-1β, IL-27 and IL-35 in the serum of the two groups were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The expression levels of the three cytokines were compared before and after treatment in the research groupand receiver operating characteristicROCcurve was plotted to evaluate the diagnostic value of individual and combined detection of the markers. ResultsCompared to the control groupthe levels of serum MIP-1β and IL-35 in the research group were significantly increasedwhile the level of IL-27 was significantly decreasedwith statistical significanceP<0.01. Compared to before treatmentthe levels of serum MIP-1β, IL-27 and IL-35 in the research group were significantly decreased after treatmentwith statistical significanceP<0.01. ROC curve analysis showed that the diagnostic efficacy of the combined detection of MIP-1β, IL-27 and IL-35 was significantly higher than that of individual markersP<0.05. ConclusionMIP-1β, IL-27 and IL-35 can be used for the differential diagnosis of TPE and MPEand the combined detection can improve the diagnostic efficiency.
