Study on the Newly-found Tablet for the Reconstruction of Chuanzhu Temple by Sichuan Guild Hall#br# on the South Silk Road#br#

Abstract: In Shanyang town of Yongping county, an important post station on the ancient South Silk Road, there is a Tablet for the
Reconstruction of Chuanzhu Temple by Sichuan Guild Hall. The inscription on the tablet has important reference value for studying the history of Shanyang town, the Han immigrants, the Sichuan Guild Hall, as well as the history of Yang Shen and the culture of the ancient South Silk Road. Taking this tablet as the object, research was conducted on the time of its establishment, Yang Wenxian Temple, Yang Shen Yongchang Garrison, Yang Shen's place of death, the changes in the place name of Shanyang, the reconstuction of Chuanzhu temple, and the folk beliefs of Sichuan merchants.
