Research in Antibiotic Prophy laxis for Type I Incision Operation in Afiliated Hospital of Dali University

Objective:To investigate the application of antibiotic prophylaxis for type I incision operations in our hospita1.Methods:Seven hundred and forty two cases with type I incision operation in our hospital from January to June in 2010 were conducted a retrospective analysis.Results:All cases of the type I incision patients received prophylactic antibiotic,among which 195 cases were applied with no indication drug,while 209 eases were applied with drug combination.There was much difference in first administration time,1 69 eases(22.8% )were 0.5-2h preoperative;266 cases(35.8%)were more than 2h preoperative;and 307 cases(41.4% )were applied postoperatively.Conclusion:UnneeessaEy high-grade antibiotic,inappropriate and prolonged usage,as well as high utilization rate of the drag combination were the main problems in the application of antibiotic prophylaxis for type I incision operations in our hospital,which needed improved management.
