Introduction to Manchu Litterateur TIE Bao in Qing Dynasty

Manchu had changed from a nation of militarism to culture, and its pattern was settled during the reign of Emperor Jiajing and Daoguang in Qing Dynasty. TIE Bao, a canonical northern national poet, contributed greatly to the course of Manchu literature. His achievements in poetry and literary theory, together with his artistic expression of strong, healthy and masculine spirits,protrude Manchu national poets' romantic and unrestrained temperament.
