Effect of Bolete on Mice Immune Function

Objective: To observe the effect of bolete on immune function of mice. Methods: Intragastric administration of bolete in aqueous solution or in lipid solution into the mice for 10 days consecutively. Organ weight of thymus and spleen, phagocytic capacity of macrophage, proliferation of T lymphocyte and cytokines inducement were investigated. Results: Indexes of lipid solution group were higher compared with that of aqueous group. Bolete manifested obvious effect on immunologic enhancement of female mice compared with the male mice. Conclusion: Bolete could enhance immune function and show anti-tumor effect in mice.
