Practical Assessment of ALT Primary Screening Test Before Blood Collection of Unpaid Blood Donors in Dali Area

Objective: To evaluate the practical assessment of alanine amino transfer enzyme （ALT）primary screening test before the blood collection of blood donors in the Dali area. Methods: Unpaid blood donors from 2010 to 2011 in our station were enrolled, ALT results were analyzed. Results: After the ALT primary screening test was applied, ALT positive scrap rate was deceased, the difference was statistical significant. Conclusion: ALT screening test before blood collection could reduce effectively blood scrap rate.
