Abstract:

Objective: To study the effect of laparoscopy operation and laparotomy operation on human immune system in benign
ovarian teratoma treatment. Methods: In research group, oophorocystectomy was performed under laparoscopy, while with laparotomy in the control group. IL-6 and T-lymphocyte subpopulation (CD4/CD8)before and after operation were measured to evaluate the immune function. Results: There was no difference of IL-6 and CD4/CD8 in two groups before operation (P>0.05). Compared with control group, both IL-6 and count of CD4/CD8 in research group were evaluated significantly on the first day and the fourth day post-operation (P<0.05). IL-6 and count of CD4/CD8 recovered to normal in the fourth day in the research group. Conclusion: Laparoscopy operation has no significant effect on IL-6 and T-lymphocyte subpopulation. Patients benefited with quick restoring and less complications from laparoscopy operation, which should be widely promoted.
