Abstract:
Imbalanced development in education still exists in China and "digital divide" is also common. This paper focuses on differences in implementation and effect of IT curriculum in different areas in Western China. Questionnaires are used for basic information about junior students' IT course learning in minority and non-minority areas. The testing method is used to evaluate their IT ability. Data show that students' IT course learning and ability in minority areas lag behind those in non-minority developed areas.
