Discussion on Yunnan Ci Poets and Ci-poetry in Ming Dynasty

Abstract:

Ming Dynasty witnessed the development of Ci-poetry in Yunnan with the rapid growth of Ci poets and Ci-poetry as the
symbol. Meanwhile, Yunnan Ci-poetry had its own features in Ming Dynasty: in terms of distribution, minority writers and different
regional creations were obvious; in terms of theme, less impact of the popular brothel theme in Ci- poetry in mainland China has been found; in terms of form, the chapter-after-chapter style had drew people's attention; in terms of style, although the tendency of poetry and songs could be found in Yunnan Ci-poetry, it enjoyed its own special features whose formation was related to the literature and the cultural environment that Yunnan Ci-poetry was in.
