Abstract:

Objective: To discuss the effect of integrated health care model reducing the incidence of postoperative deep vein
thrombosis(DVT)in patients with spine surgery. Methods: Integrated health care group was set up and management procedure was
made. The reasons and countermeasures of deep vein thrombosis caused by spine surgery were analyzed. Doctors and nurses
participated in training with clear responsibility and mutual assistance. The incidence of postoperative DVT before and after this new
model was compared. Results: The incidence of DVT after anterior spinal surgery was 7.19%, which after two rounds of quality
improvement was reduced to zero. The difference before and after was statistically significant(P < 0.05). Conclusion: Integrated
health care model can reduce the incidence of spinal surgery patients with DVT and improve the quality of medical care.
