Abstract:

High Plains Tango is the epilogue of "the Trilogy of the Bridges" by American writer, Robert James Waller. Susanne, the
protagonist of the novel, becomes an Eco - feminism and Taoism disseminator, whose thoughts and behaviors embodies the Ecofeminism
with "a harmonious relationship between man and woman" as well as "a harmonious relationship between man and nature",
which is in agreement with Taoist thoughts : "Tao is the origin of the world"; "Yin and Yang promotes each other". The harmonious
relationship between Susanne and Corel reflects Waller's dreaming of an ideal society in which man and woman are equal; the
relationship between man and woman is harmonious; all species are equally treated; man and nature live in harmony.
