Abstract: The Party’s political construction is the precious experience and tradition that the Communist Party of China has summed up in its practice of long and complex struggle. The report to the 19th CPC National Congress for the first time included political construction in the overall plan of Party building， giving a profound interpretation of the importance of political construction in Party building. At present， the academic circle has carried out in-depth interpretation and research on the connotation， generative logic， value significance and practical approach of the Party’s political construction， but there are some problems such as insufficiency in the comprehensiveness of research content and the innovativeness of research methods and relatively narrow research perspective. To open up a new position in the study of the Party’s political construction， we should further highlight the problem consciousness， enrich the research content， innovate the research methods， broaden the research horizon， so as to answer the practical problems of the Party’s political construction in the new era， and to continue promoting the great project of the Party’s political construction in the new era.
