Abstract:

The ultimate aim of mass line campaign is to solve problems. The key to such aim is to rectify the problems found in the campaign. This paper sums up the solutions to formalism in terms of the atmosphere of learning, the plethora of official documents and meetings, the non-depth of investigation and research, and other “Four Trends” problems, such as bureaucracy. It also puts forward measures to rectify the outstanding problems in universities in ten aspects, proposes feasible plans for the correction and prevention of interfering the accreditation of professional titles by taking advantage of one’s authority, and analyzes and discusses the rectification measures for other problems which were found from advice collecting and democratic meetings. All in all, it provides a reference for the second round of the party’s mass line campaign in colleges and universities.
