大学英语教师专业发展的有效途径

摘要:

大学英语教师的专业成长与提高是一个漫长历程。由于进修条件有限,教师要追求专业发展受到一定限制。因此在教学理念落后于语言教学理论的发展、教材涉及的知识面太广、自身的通识知识欠缺、教学任务太重、备课量大和课件制作费时费力等问题下,教师要追求专业发展必须立足校本,以课堂教学为突破口,使每堂课都成为其专业提高的机会。在课堂教学实践过程中,教师可以通过集体备课、同伴观摩和教学反思等教学合作途径,促进专业发展。

Abstract:

It takes time for college English teachers to achieve professional development.Due to the insufficient opportunities of getting in-service training,college English teachers should make full utilization of school-based resources to pursue their professional development.They are supposed to take the classroom teaching as their important opportunity of advancing their professional capabilities.In the course of their teaching practice,teachers can develop their professional capabilities through teaching cooperation,which includes preparing for lessons together,peer observation and teaching reflection.
