大学英语教师信念实证调查与研究

摘要: 以四川省3所院校的108名大学英语教师为研究对象,以教师信念为核心,采取定量和定性实证研究方法,调查大学英语教师信念的特点。研究结果表明:大学英语教师信念基本呈开放性,在学生学习评价、教师工作评价、课程观和学生管理等4个方面表现出不同的特点。同时探讨了大学英语教师信念变化的来源,并依此提出了提升教师信念的措施,以促进教师可持续发展,提高大学英语教学质量。

Abstract: Both qualitative and quantitative analyses are made about college English teachers′ belief.The study involves 108 college English teachers from 3 universities in Sichuan.The results reveal that the subjects are openminded in teachers′ belief.But their beliefs differ in the dimensions of student learning,teacher job assessment,curriculum and student management.The sources for teachers′ belief changes are also probed based on which a conclusion is made that quality of college English teaching and teachers′ sustainable development can be promoted by promoting teachers′ beliefs.
