Abstract: With the deepening of China's reforms, social equity has been widely involved in the residents' living environment, but the analysis of its effects has been lacking. Based on data from the China General Social Survey (CGSS2015), this article explores the impact of subjective and objective social equity factors on residents' perception of public service access. The results show that the higher the degree of social equity, the higher the residents'perception of public services access;subjective equity factors have a greater impact on residents' perception of public services access than objective equity factors. Heterogeneity analysis results show that social equity has a greater impact on urban residents' perception of access to public services than on rural residents. The above conclusions suggest that we should improve the residents' perception of public service access in the respects of objective and subjective social equity, and guide people's cognition and greatly increase investment to the improvement of rural people's livelihood
