TEACHING STRATEGIES OF MOVIE ENGLISH

Abstract: Among the selective courses for college English students,Movie English is one of the most popular,bringing a fresh perspective to college English teaching.This paper points out that pertinent course design,interesting classroom teaching and prompt teaching evaluation are important factors that can bring the advantages of video materials into full play.Teaching practice proves that it is a very effective teaching model to aim at cultivating students′ oral communicative ability with the help of e portfolio,and to enhance culture input and improve other practical abilities.
