Abstract: Since the Decision to Complete the People′s Juror System was passed and issued by the 11th Plenary Session of the Standing Committee of the 10th National People′s Congress，more researches have been done on the legislation and application of the law，but both theoretic and practical researches failed to focus on the mediation function of people′s juror and the mediation mechanism.The major problem in those researches lies in the lack of justification for the operation of mediation mechanism.In summary，both theoretic exploration and experience accumulation are needed in the development of people′s juror mediation mechanism.
