Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to study the variation tendency and existing problems of college beginners′ psychological health，and to provide instructions for school′s psychological health work.The survey and analysis were carried out among 24425 freshmen from grade 2006 to 2010.SCL90 was used in this survey to assess their psychological health state.The authors discover that freshman′s psychological health state vary with time and in a relatively wide range.The freshmen of grade 2008 scored the highest in dimensions of compulsion，interpersonal sensitivity，dysthymia，anxiety，hostility and phobia in SCL90.The psychological health state of freshmen varies with gender，major and background and presents manifold differences as time goes by.
