Abstract: Human rights protection is written into the Amendment of Criminal Procedural Law，which has great theoretical and practical significance. It conforms to the present situation of human right protection at home and abroad，conduces to the change of concept about criminal procedure，and the effective implementation of human rights protection，thus prevents or reduces violations of human rights. However，human rights protection is not completely embodied in the Amendment of Criminal Procedural Law. There are still rooms for improvement in the aspects of expression in the provisions，preventing coerced confessions and torture，protection of victims’ human rights，and compulsory measure establishment.
