Abstract:

Since 1920 when Georg Simmel was first known to Chinese and 1921 when Simmel was first studied by domestic scholars，over 90 years have passed. However，it is not until after 1990s that substantial achievements have been reached in this field. At present，Simmel’s thoughts about sociology，aesthetics，religion and philosophy and his exposition about modernity，urbanism，culture，and fashion all interest domestic scholars very much. Domestic studies on Simmel is heading for a more independent，comprehensive and in depth stage.
