Abstract: The services in academic reserves are an important part of the new-type services in university libraries.This article introduces the research and development of Southwest Petroleum University Library Reserves System.It discusses issues such as the background of system development and introduces research issues relative to data collection and integration and to system technical realization and characteristics of the system.
