Abstract: Since 2010，produce prices in Sichuan have risen dramatically.Various factors contribute to this rise.Firstly，costs of production and distribution have been pushed up by production material price rise and complicated distribution channels.Besides，advances in consumer demands require greater investment in agriculture production.The third reason for produce price rise is lack of timely market information.Therefore，the authors suggest that in order to stabilize produce prices，government should improve produce price manipulation mechanism，effectively protect and utilize arable land，develop new and more effective distribution channels and farmer cooperative economic organizations.
