Abstract: This paper introduces the Egyptian agriculture research institutions and their success in research system establishment，research achievements transfer and promotion，and water conservation through literature research and field investigation in the Arab Republic of Egypt.Egyptian government also encourages enlarging cultivated land to compensate for their limited land resources.It is then suggested by the author that，in constructing new socialist countryside and in modernizing agriculture，Sichuan should focus on legislation，watersaving technologies and agricultural technology promotion.
