Abstract: Using large physical simulation equipment and outcrop plate model, an experimental study on CO2 huff-n-puff in staged fracturing of horizontal wells was carried out. The experiment results show that CO2 huff-n-puff can effectively improve oil recovery of tight oil reservoir. In addition, the injection pressure is an important factor affecting CO2 huff-n-puff effect. By analyzing pressures at different model locations, production and other key parameters, we clearly define the stratigraphic energy supplement features of CO2 huff-n-puff. The result of the research has great significance in the effective development of tight oil reservoirs.

Key words: staged fracturing horizontal wells, large physical simulation, CO2 huff-n-puff, injection pressure, stratigraphic energy supplement
