Abstract: What characterizes the sensor in the saturated magnetomcter s probe is its magnetic curve s nonlinearity and symmetry. According to this, the effect of employing harmonic or symmetrical trigonometric wave to excite the probe on the results measured has been discussed in this paper. It is concluded that it is better to use harmonic wave as exciting wave than to employ symmetrical trigonometric wave.
