TEST EQUIPMENT AND METHOD FOR BREAKING ROCK UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF COMPLEX MOTION

Abstract:

A new kind of test equipment and a method for rockbreaking mechanism of a roller bit are introduced in this paper. Ihe equipment controlled by microcomputers and used for measuring data is different from any present bit test equipment in its working mechanism and construction. It can be used to simulate the motion and dynamics of bit teeth during the breaking of rock more realistically, and to measure the dynamic parameters more exactly while the test is going on, and the corresponding relationship between them.Some examples and the analysis of test results are also presented in this paper.It is shown through the tests that the new test equipment is reliable and convenient to operate,and that the data measured are exact and the results tested are believable.
