Abstract: Water-soluble gas isa non-conventional natural gas,which has not been studied yet at home.This paper presented for the first time the classfication of water-soluble gas reservoirs,illustrates the factors which influence the gas dissolubility in formation water,and the geologic and development characteristics,and finally evaluated water-soluble gas resources and pointed out the areas favourable to exploration in sichuan basin.
