Assessing the Oil-Productive Intervals by the Characters of the Residual Hydrocarbon of Reservoir Rocks in the Process of Drilling

Abstract:

The geochemistry method of checking reservoir formation and predicting physical property of crude oil are presented in the paper by saturate hydrocarbon chromatography fingerprinting from core extracts. The practical case is from Hannan8 well, anew exploratory well of Tanhai area in Lioahe basin. The method is characterized by economically and quickly finding reservoir formation, with lower time - consuming, high accurate and conducting while drilling. It is valuable to disseminate and popularize.
