    Studies on classification method of reservoir when reservoir parameters are described by probability distribution functions in the paper .Firstly, the concepts of probability distribution pressing close degree and comprehensive probability distribution pressing close degree are introduced, and by means of which a new parameter classification method of reservoir is achieved.     An evaluation to the saturation of oil & gas pool in accordance with the characters of reservoir &seal from the view of combining reservoir with seal is presented in the paper. The study suggests that reserving capacity is determined by the reservoir characters and the trapper characters the latter influences the petroleum migration. Furthermore, the strength and orientation of hydraulic flow may increase or decrease the height of oil & gas pool. It is indicated errors may be introduced because of the shortage of trapper’s data.

    The damaged degree of formation can be assessed with logging information. Based on those normal process methods, some practical methods and technique to evaluate reservoir contamination by means of artificial neural network and log parameters are introduced in the paper. According to some wells data from Huabei-Erlian oilfield, we developed its neural network mathematical model to evaluate the damaged formation, and conducted modeling prediction. All the results show that this method is feasible and simple, and can accurately predict the contamination parameters and evaluate the damaged degree exactly and reasonably. It can be taken as a new and successful approach to evaluate formation contamination quantitatively.

    Core analysis and logging interpretation show that the property destribution of sdimentary rocks usually is of fractal characteristic. Improved experimental variograms are used in the paper to analyze the porosity and permeability parameters of logging and coring in a certain oilfield. It is observed that in some wells, the parameters are characterized by the fractal, and the fGn frsctal interpolation technologq is utilised to obtain the inter-wells paremeter distribution.

    There is a tight relation between the width of rock fracture and its surface morphology. The description of a fracture surface morphologyis essential to the study of mechanic feature and the flow conductivity .As a pioneer, by means of photoelectric three dimension surface automatic measurement system, the authors measured the surface topography of natural fractures from five sedimentary rocks. The number of fractal dimension and coefficient C are got by spectrum analysis of a composed surface. The results show that the characteristic rule size plays a major roll to determine the fracture width. These parameters are essential to investigate the closure of a fracture under the reservoir conditions.

    The experimental data from 120 samples for XRD and SEM analysis show that in Xiaermen Oil Field, clay evolut from shallow to deep with apparent characters. The clay minerals groups in the shallow-upper, Middle-lower, and deep layers are smectite-kaolinite, chlorite - kaolinite -interlayered I/S, and chlorite-illite respectively. Seven types of clay minerals microstructures have been described. The study on these clay minerals microstructures displays that the stability of formation is determined by the dominated types of microstructure in the reservoirs. The order of microstructure stability (from strong to poor) is as following lamina, cabbage, domain, book house, pseudo sphere, honeycomb and cardhouse. Predictions based on comprehensive analysis of sensitive minerals, pore structures, formation fluids and core flow tests indicate that the most serious factors of formation damage are alkaline, fresh water and salted water sensitivity, as well as sand production.

    The geochemistry method of checking reservoir formation and predicting physical property of crude oil are presented in the paper by saturate hydrocarbon chromatography fingerprinting from core extracts. The practical case is from Hannan8 well, anew exploratory well of Tanhai area in Lioahe basin. The method is characterized by economically and quickly finding reservoir formation, with lower time - consuming, high accurate and conducting while drilling. It is valuable to disseminate and popularize.

    According to formation, evolution and structural characteristics of Shaihan Sag, structural development and petroleum geological characteristics of the Sag are discussed, and the accumulation of oil/gas and the relation between fault and oil/gas are descried. It is pointed out that friction heat due to faulting activity and volcanic eruption along the faulty make the geothermal gradient rise in the area, which is favorable for organic matter to transform into hydrocarbon.

    According to the analysis of petroleum economy and supply demand relationship in the world, the conclusion is gained that the upstream of the industry should place considerable attention on resource, productivity, efficiency and successive rate of exploring wells. Based upon the technological areas to be concerned, the geological characteristic, reservoir characteristic and economic technological characteristic are analysed in the paper, and it is pointed out that low pressure under – balanced drilling technology must be utilised in order to complete the tasks. In addition, the present situation of development and existing problems in low pressure under-balanced drilling technology in abroad are mentioned, and the key point and direction of development in low pressure under-balanced drilling technology in china are introduced combining with some seven - year research achievement made by Southwest Petroleum Institute.

    The mainly difficult problem of production inadequate return top of slurry and poor bonding cementing hole reaction are discussed in the paper; the effective factors of cementing quality – poor slurry property, lost circulation, poor displacement in long bare hole, and o8il-gas-water migration in the processes of slurry setting are analyzed; the technical countermeasure of enhancing cementing quality and preventing casing corrosive are presented. The previous troubles are solved satisfactorily and marked economic benefit abstained by using these techniques in low temperature, weak and oil-gas-water active formation.

    Silicate-based drilling fluids with main additives being sodium or potassium silicate have been widely applied in recent years. The system shows strong borehole stability and environmental compatibility. Its stability mechanism differs from other water-based drilling fluids. After introducing the system, the borehole stability mechanism this paper is particularly analyzed .There are four aspects contributing the mechanism: (1) quickly plug pores and fractures near - wellbore, stop filtrate from entering formation and reduce pore pressure penetration; (2) constrain hydration of clay minerals in shale; (3) silicate reacts with clay minerals; (4)coordinate stability of other inorganic salts.

    In deep wells, the safe window between pore pressure and fracture pressure is extremely narrow, and the pressure and temperature are very high at the bottom holes. The characteristics make it more difficult to control the pressure balance of hole in deep wells than in conventional wells. Aiming at the characteristics, a circulating and shut – in temperature distribution model, a HTHP density model and a HTHP rheologic model .This paper is presented based on the basic principles of Rheology ,Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics. With these models and the PVT properties of formation fluid, some kick phenomena in several deep wells are analyzed. The results show that the models presented by this paper are very important to control the pressure balance in deep wells.

    In conducting performance analysis, prorating production, injection and working put development plan, decline rate is often used to analyze the change of oil production and forecast the future tendency of oil area, oilfield, unit, as well as well group and single well. Therefor the concept of decline rate is very important. There are rules made by CNPC as to the calculation method of decline rate, but actually different methods are applied to different oil fields. These decline rates calculated by different methods reflect the actual production decline of each oil field and are of different implications. If they are quoted and compared as a same index, there must be some problems. Based on decline theory, this paper further deepens the knowledge of the expressions of different decline rates is further deepened, the relationship and differences among different calculation methods at different decline rules and finally derives some relations among annual oil production decline rate, annual productivity decline rate and monthly decline rate are studied. With these relations and their decline regulation, decline rate could be forecasted rapidly and easily so as to confirm the arrangement of monthly production of each year and development program, guide the management of oil field development and production.

    PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) is a new computer electronic product developed in recent years. In order to help the field engineers finish diagnosis, analysis and make strategic decisions in situation, the software system named Oil and Gas Production Engineers Assistant ( OGPEA ) are developed with portable computer. It belongs to” The Study and Development of Series Products of Petroleum Engineering Personal Digital Assistant (PEPDA)”, which is one of Chinese high- tech Plan (863) Projects. The specialized contents of OGPEA are divided into engineering calculation, operation regulations & methods, equipment standards and production management. The main specialized contents, the development background and goal of OGPEA are introduced in this paper. The supplementary functions of OGPEA are also introduced.

    A model that is used to casing radial deformation of horizontal well by finite element analysis method of 3D pipeline and 3D shell .The axial load effect to casing radial deformation provide is considered a new academic bases for curve hole casing designing. Diameter 244. 47 mm casing is taken as a case, casing radial to three kinds of conditions in curve secession: no stabilizer calculated, and casing string contacts hole; with stabilizers, and casing string stays in the center; between stabilizers casing string contacts hole occasionally. The results have been used to 244.47 mm casing design of high curve horizontal well in the Kelamayi oil field.

    The main and ancillary factors which influence the oscillating cavity forming self-excited oscillation through the experiment is studied in this paper. The oscillators were compared and optimum seeked under the condition of experiment, based on which, the experimental research with leading- in turbulence were done. The purpose of the experiment is to supply a new thought for the design of drilling bit cavity, especially, it supplies the experimental evidence for the hydraulic system design of the small size cone bit. At the same time, the effort is made to find a new method of the fluid self - excited oscillating pressure boost.We adopted the replaceable oscillating cavity designed by authors in the experiment was adopted, it has three kinds of cavity diameters (50mm, 60mm, 70mm), and its cavity length can be steeples regulated. The experiment was done under the conditions of submergence by clean water and with no backpressure. In the case of submergence and freeness jet flow, the turbulence can be led-in by drilling a hole at the side wall of the oscillator, and the impact pressure of the jet flow can be measured at the outlet of the oscillator, then the experimental results can be analyzed through the waveform analysis and spectrum analysis. The experiment shows that the oscillator behaviors can be changed by leading- in turbulence, even possibly improved under some conditions. High power oscillator and producing self-excited pressure boost can form powerful impulse jet flow.

    The motion of round-shaped shaker is simplified to the general motion and the vibrator that consists of frame and vibrator axis is taken as a simple gyroscope in the paper. The motion of vibrator around a fixed point is regular precession which is making positive going precession, negative going nutation and positive going rotation. Lesal’s coordinate system is used to develop and solve the differential equation of the motion of the vibrator around a fixed point and the differential equation of the motion around center of mass has been developed and solved, which is helpful for finding law of the motion of any point of the round-shaped shaker and for design round-shaped shaker.

    Oil field emergence shutdown system (ESD) is a very important compositional part in the oil field automation, which can avoid and limit the damage or hurt to facility, production system, operators and environment due to production technique problem or other problems, insures that the production system can safely work. The structure of the ESD system and some of safety standards used in the ESD system design, as well as some standards and rules for ESD system design by home and abroad organisation are introduced. The basic requirement is given on design and model selection aiming at oilfield automation ESD system, and practical case is presented about the application of ESD system in oilfield.

    The catalysts RH2(CO)4CL2 NaY and Rh2 (CO)4Cl2\ BX were prepared by solvated dispersion method and were applied to hydrogenolysis of CO. The effects of temperature, supporting media and CO\ H2(molar ratio) on activity and selectivity of the catalysts were studied, the Rh dispersion and the amount of CO adsorption were determined with H2-O2titration and CO adsorption. The results showed that these catalysts are high and stable dispersion, high activity and selectivity for gydrogenolysis of CO, and, weak adsorption of CO.

    Gas condensate reservoirs are playing more and more important role in energy resources. Econimic development of the reservoirs with high complexibility and value is very important for natural gas industry. Several economic problems which should be concerned a lot in profucing reservoirs are put forward in the article, including economic demenstration of development method, optimal exonomical production of group reservoirs, enganced condensate recovery and develop the reservoir vatching underground with ground infrastracture.
