Abstract: Two kinds of catalysts have been used to degrade methylorange and dyes under the different light-lamp and with different electron-transmitter. The catalysts have low activity when the transmitter is O2, while the catalysts show high activity when the transmitter is H2O2. After 20 minutes reaction under sun-light, the degradation of methyl-orange can reach 90% and
the COD remove ratio of the dye can reach 50%~60% and it has little color. Results have showed that the electron-transmitter is one important factor for the process of effective photocatalytic oxidation and H2O2 is more effective than O2 as electron-transmitter.
