Abstract: The ordinary non-adjustable stabilizer is still now an indispensable element of DHA(Down-Hole Assembly) for controlling well inclination. Unfortunately, at home, it is quite lack of the relative information of this type stabilizer, and the structure is very simple and single. Therefore through the analysis of the overseas relative materials of the stabilizer, the material properties and the dimensional parameters of stabilizer were described in the paper, and the non-magnetic steel used in stabilizer was mainly stressed, and the constructions with the relative sizes othree kinds of sleeve stabilizer-two piece, three piece and clamp on were listed, and the feature of thread connections was shown in this paper. All these of introduced contents in the paper will help us further to understand the stabilizer. It provided the reference for the stabilizer to be designed, manufactured and used.
