Abstract: The solid expandable tubular technology developed in t nineties of the twentieth century to saving the hole diamete and originated from the Enventure company in USA. Now t technology has been put into practice, but it is at the stage theoretic research in our country. This article established t
mechanics model of the expand process of the expandable casi with the elastic-plastic finite-element contact question of t ADINA software. Through choosing different value of the frtion coefficient and extent of expansion,the detailed compusimulation analysis of the expand process that expanded the
80 steel 95/8″tubular was done . under the foundation of quatative and quantificational comparison of axial and radial placement of the groups cell at different location along the raddirection of the tubular, gained the metal flow rules of the so expandable tubular at different value of the friction coefficie
and extent of expansion, provided theoretic fundament for tstructure design of expandable cone ,choosing material of solid expandable tubular and the practical application of the so expandable tubular technology.
