Feasibility Study and Index Optimism of CO₂Injection and Production in Xingbei S₃ Faulted Block

Abstract

Abstract: It is an efficient way for complex small faulted block to CO₂ injection and production. Phase behavior and simulation studying can help us much more of knowing whether the reservoir suits for this process. After phase behavior of Xingbei S₃faulted block crude oil in Liaohe was studied, CO₂ injection and production from well Xing was simulated. Results indicated this block had good potential of CO₂ injection. It would be produced 1557t oil within 300 days. Ratio of CO₂ shift oil is up to 2.
