FIELD APPLICATION AND PRODUCTION BEHAVIOR OF CROSSLINKING POLYMER FLOODING TECHNOLOGY

Abstract: In Henan oilfield, polymer flooding technology is applied with high consuming amount of polymer, poor resistance to temperature and salt, weak profile modifiability and easy interaquifer flow, herein crosslinking polymer flooding technology is developed, and largescale pilot test is implemented in H2Ⅲ fault block unit of Xiaermen oilfield. Comparing the production performance of crosslinking polymer flooding with polymer flooding, the crosslinking polymer system shows better injectivity, higher injection pressure rise and better profile modifiability, weaker fluid productivity and larger producing fluid level drop than polymer flooding. Especially in the postwater flooding phase, the crosslinking polymer slug has effectively retarded the postwater breakthrough and retained good production behavior at lower water cut and oil production decline. Crosslinking polymer flooding technology plays a definite guidance role in field application of weak gel profile modifiability for other oilfield.
