Abstract: In Henan oilfield, polymer flooding technology is applied with high consuming amount of polymer, poor resistance to temperature and salt, weak profile modifiability and easy interaquifer flow, herein crosslinking polymer flooding technology is developed, and largescale pilot test is implemented in H2Ⅲ fault block unit of Xiaermen oilfield. Comparing the production performance of crosslinking polymer flooding with polymer flooding, the crosslinking polymer system shows better injectivity, higher injection pressure rise and better profile modifiability, weaker fluid productivity and larger producing fluid level drop than polymer flooding. Especially in the postwater flooding phase, the crosslinking polymer slug has effectively retarded the postwater breakthrough and retained good production behavior at lower water cut and oil production decline. Crosslinking polymer flooding technology plays a definite guidance role in field application of weak gel profile modifiability for other oilfield.
