INTERPRET THE LAW OF EFFECTIVE FRACTURE DEVELOPMENT BASED ON NEW TECHNOLOGY IN WELL LOGGING

Abstract: Image logging data provide the precise distribution information of fractures underground, with the data, the fracture parameters, including dip, azimuth and the combination types can be fully gained, which give valuable information for geologic analysis. the fractures in neighbor fields with similar geologic feature can be predicted based on multi well image logging data combining core data. At last, 3 effective fracture developing zones, 5 poor developing fracture zones and 2 nonfracture zones in lower Triassic Feixianguan Formation reservoir in Sichuan basin have been interpreted by studying the fracture distribution and fracture effect factors which are lithologic characters, fracture dissolution & infilling, and the relationship of fracture with present terrestrial stress and structure with 10 wells image logging data and core data. The result is confirmed by well drilling and the interpretation with the new technology is feasible. 
