Abstract: Oil and gas exploration and development project evaluation is one of the important contents in the oil and gas exploration and development project management,as well as an important element to improve the scientific decisionjmaking of project.In recent years,Oil and gas exploration and development project emphasizes the control on the process of project construction,its evaluation tends to evaluate the whole life cycle process of the project.All of above results in the interim evaluation of the exploration and development project of oil and gas.The interim evaluation can strengthen the control on the implementation process of project,timely adjust and correct the problems to ensure projects good economic results.First of all,the meaning of the interim evaluation of exploration and development project of oil and gas is analyzed,its characteristic,including period,prediction,time,scale,feedback,technical requirements and its content are all pointed out.And then the purpose of the interim evaluation,with the definition of the evaluation method and application conditions is discussed.At last,some questions needed attention in the project of oil and gas exploration and development is pointed out.
