MECHANICS ANALYSIS OF JETTING STRING DURING JETTING OPERATION OF CONDUCTOR

Abstract: Jetting string used in deepwater jetting operation of conductor has a special double-pipe structure,it is composed of inner bottom hole assembly (BHA) and outer conductor,which are in different mechanical systems.The axial load of jetting string is important for deformation and stress calculation on whole tubular string.Analysis indicates that axial load of conductor depends on friction resistance,and the load of BHA is influenced by hydraulic thrust load,jetting reacting force and weight on bit (WOB).The axial load can be transfered by running tool between both inner and outer tubules.The distribution of axial force along jetting string is calculated and the change law of neutral point on conductor during jetting operations is analyzed.It is useful for jetting conductor design and operations.
